Oncolink, established in 1996, is a society to create network of physicians, social activists, health workers, philanthropists and the like.
Oncolink considers cancer as a social problem and fights for the rights and dignity of the cancer patients.
Alongside various initiatives like mass education, early detection and research works, Oncolink comes forward to stand by services like free Counseling & Clinic, providing temporary accommodation to the cancer patients at Niramoy Bhavan (38/1, Sultan Alam Road, Kolkata – 700 033, near Rabindra Sarobar Metro Station; Ph: 033 2422-4788) and setting up of Oncolink Palliative Care Hospital at Madanpur, Distt. Nadia, West Bengal, PIN 741245.
Oncolink Palliative Care Hospital
The hospital is having Indoor capacity of 20 beds along with Outdoor, Home based care and Ambulance facility. The service is extended to the terminal patients having diseases like cancer, congestive heart failure, cerebro-vascular disease, neuro-degenerative disease, chronic respiratory disease, ailments of aging etc.
It is a people’s initiative. The physical, psycho social, spiritual care of the patients will be provided by the team comprising of doctors, nurses, health workers, social workers and other professionals.

Activities
- Oncolink, established in 1996, dedicated to the cause of creating awareness among the masses about Cancer. It provides every support to the Cancer patients, their families and people at large. The main activities of Oncolink may be summarized as:
- 1.To organize Awareness Camps
- 2.To conduct Early Detection Camps
- 3.To run free clinic cum counseling centre every Saturday at 66, Durga Charan Doctor Road, Kolkata-700014 and every Thursday at Niramoy Bhavan, 38/1 Sultan Alam Road, Kolkata-700033
- 4.To run a temporary shelter for Cancer patients from distant places at Niramoy Bhavan, 38/1 Sultan Alam Road, Kolkata-700033
- 5.Oncolink has established community based Palliative Care Hospital at Village Teghari, P.O. Madanpur, Dist. Nadia, WB, PIN- 741245, the first of its kind in West Bengal dedicated for palliative care.

We are proud to say that this hospital has been built by the financial and moral assistance of common people and philanthropic organizations. But we need much more to provide better facilities at a lower cost.
